Good news, you can already do both of these today.
Messaging staff (use case 1): Create a contact group for your staff, then compose a message to the whole group at once. Here's how to create a contact group and message everyone in it: https://www.apptoto.com/apptoto-manual/article/participant-extraction/contact-groups-group-and-manage-contacts-together/
Messaging clients by location (use case 2): You have two options depending on your setup:
- If you have 50+ clients per location: Create an address book for each location's clients (if you don't have these already). Send a Campaign message to everyone in that address book. Here's the address book Campaign option: https://www.apptoto.com/apptoto-manual/article/campaign/
- If you have separate appointment calendars per location synced to Apptoto (and fewer than 50 clients to contact at one time): On the Appointments screen, make sure only the appointment calendar for the location you want to message is checked in the "Calendars" table. Next, select/check all appointments near the time of the event, then click Compose. The message pre-populates with the contact information for all checked appointments, so you can quickly send an emergency message. Please see the attached screenshot to help explain this configuration!
